Job description

Position Summary:
Provide onsite IT infrastructure and desktop support for employees, contractors, and business partners. Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows OS, network connectivity, peripherals, and collaboration technologies while supporting day-to-day site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite desktop, hardware, software, and infrastructure support.
  • Deploy, replace, upgrade, and maintain workstations and IT equipment.
  • Support employee onboarding/offboarding and equipment provisioning.
  • Manage IT inventory, asset tracking, audits, and equipment lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot wired/wireless networks, VPN, remote access, and basic infrastructure issues.
  • Support conference rooms, printers, A/V, and collaboration technologies.
  • Manage incidents, requests, and tasks through ServiceNow.
  • Support local servers, network equipment, and manufacturing/engineering systems.
  • Assist with software deployments, OS patching, cybersecurity, and compliance activities.
  • Coordinate vendor warranty repairs and hardware break/fix services.
  • Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and inventory records.
  • Participate in major incidents, site outages, business continuity, and after-hours support.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Enterprise Desktop/IT Infrastructure Support
  • Strong Windows, hardware, software, and peripheral troubleshooting
  • Microsoft 365
  • Active Directory
  • Device/endpoint management tools
  • Basic network troubleshooting - wired, wireless, VPN
  • ServiceNow experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
  • Ability to physically install/move IT equipment

Preferred:

  • Manufacturing/engineering/field-site IT support experience
  • Asset lifecycle and inventory management
  • Conference room/A/V support
  • Cybersecurity and endpoint protection knowledge
  • CompTIA A+/Network+, Microsoft, or similar certifications
  • Associate/Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
