What You Will Do
  • Conduct thorough inspections of all site improvements to confirm quality and compliance with approved plans and specifications.
  • Maintain detailed daily documentation, including progress notes, field observations, contractor communications, and photo records.
  • Identify substandard or non-conforming work and coordinate corrective actions with contractors, municipal representatives, and project managers.
  • Communicate professionally with contractors, municipal personnel, utility operators, engineering staff, and stakeholders.
  • Utilize digital tools for data collection and reporting, including Survey123, ArcGIS, tablets, and GPS equipment as needed.

What you Bring
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience with municipal or authority site improvements.
  • Proven experience in all site improvements construction or inspection.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and municipal standards independently.
  • Strong field documentation and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency using digital field tools (Survey123, ArcGIS, tablets, etc.).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications
  • NICET certification.
  • GPS knowledge or experience is a plus.
