Job description

Job Overview
We are seeking skilled Structural Welders to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling structural components with precision and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of welding techniques, blueprint reading, and mechanical systems to ensure high-quality construction projects.

Duties

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on structural steel components according to detailed blueprints and schematics
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
  • Welding stainless steel structural components using the Flux-Core process
  • Read and work from detailed blueprints, and perform 3G, and 4G welds in all positions including overhead and vertical, in high-pressure, demanding environment
  • Use calipers, basic math skills, and measuring tools to ensure precise fit-up of parts
  • Conduct machining tasks as needed for component fabrication or modification
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper equipment handling
  • Collaborate with team members on complex projects requiring mechanical knowledge and schematics interpretation

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding within manufacturing or construction environments
  • Must pass a 3g, 4g flux-core plate text, 1" visual/bend, stringer beads only
  • 5 years of structural welding experience
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
