As a remote mental health counselor, you will be part of a compassionate and dynamic team that values inclusivity and teamwork. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately evaluate clients' mental health needs, considering factors such as history, challenges, and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, integrating various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
• Engage in telehealth counseling sessions with individuals, groups, and families, adapting techniques to suit diverse client needs and preferences.
• Collaborate with case managers and psychiatrists to coordinate care, ensuring clients receive holistic support that addresses both their mental and physical health.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, employing de-escalation techniques and compassionate listening skills.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness, facilitate educational workshops, and reduce stigma associated with mental health issues.

Our community center serves a broad spectrum of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. • Current and independent licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s degree or a doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build therapeutic relationships quickly and effectively with clients.
• Demonstrated cultural competence to sensitively serve diverse communities.
• Exceptional organizational skills, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health counseling, preferably in a community health or telehealth setting.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain client data securely and efficiently.
• Experience in conducting group therapy sessions and workshops.
