ROOFING SALES REPRESENTATIVE (INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR)

Roofing Angels | Remote – Serving Los Angeles County, CA

Pay

Commission-based compensation determined by experience and performance. 1099 independent contractor — no base salary. Top-performing reps have the potential to earn $50,000–$150,000+ annually depending on production and lead volume.

Roofing Angels is seeking a driven, professional Roofing Sales Representative to manage and close residential, commercial, B2B, property management, and HOA roofing leads remotely. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity for a self-motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment and takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound homeowner, commercial, B2B, property management, and HOA leads via phone, email, text, and virtual meetings
  • Conduct virtual consultations and prepare detailed, professional proposals (materials, warranties, pricing, and financing options)
  • Guide clients through the full sales process, from initial estimate to contract execution and close
  • Collaborate with field superintendents, production teams, and other departments to ensure smooth project handoffs
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete notes and status updates in the company CRM
  • Consistently follow up with clients to close sales and build long-term relationships
  • Represent Roofing Angels with professionalism, honesty, integrity, and a customer-first mindset at all times

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales experience preferred; roofing, construction, or home improvement sales a strong plus
  • Proven ability to independently manage a pipeline and close deals
  • Strong phone, email, and virtual presentation skills
  • Comfortable working remotely and maintaining availability during Pacific Time business hours (evening/weekend flexibility for client meetings as needed)
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management, organization, and follow-up discipline
  • Experience working within a CRM system
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Compensation Structure

  • 1099 independent contractor — commission-based, no base salary or employee benefits
