Headquartered in 12 offices across the country, we provide comprehensive legal and process service solutions to many of the nation's top law firms and financial institutions. Our focus is on delivering accurate, timely, and compliant services with the highest standard of professionalism.

We are currently seeking a Private Process Server or Process Serving Agency to join our team as an independent contractor in Kent County, Maryland. This 1099 contract role offers flexible scheduling and weekly compensation based on completed jobs.

Location Requirement: Applicants must reside in or currently serve within a 45-mile radius of Kent County, MD.

Who We're Looking For: We're seeking dependable, detail-oriented professionals with experience in legal document delivery. Ideal candidates may include:

  • Licensed Private Investigators
  • Experienced Process Servers
  • Current or Former Law Enforcement Professionals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make diligent service attempts:
    • Collections Files: Up to 5 attempts at varied times (morning, evening, weekend, etc.)
    • Non-Collections Files: 2 diligent attempts (morning and evening)
  • Activate cases within 24 hours of receiving documents (via FedEx or email)
  • Electronically sign all eligible affidavits within 48 hours of service
  • Use ProVest's mobile applications to:
    • Upload photo evidence of addresses
    • Record service or non-service outcomes
    • Submit detailed attempt notes

Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid driver's license and active auto insurance
  • Smartphone capable of running mobile apps
