Job description

Job Duties and Other Information Please click HERE to apply. Assists in support and development of interfaces between both internal and external trading partners. Assists in documenting assigned interfaces between the Department and internal and external entities.

Assists in the development of data APIs and data delivery services to support critical operational processes and analytical models. Understands and implements best practices in management of enterprise data, including master data, reference data, metadata, data quality, and lineage. Assists in providing technical support to project teams working on complex and interrelated systems to ensure compliance with all information technology policies, procedures and programming standards.

Assists in the development of reporting in conjunction with Department leadership that meets the needs of the Department, meets required report specifications, and which helps guide business decisions. Participates in meetings with internal and external stakeholders to elicit information needs and ensure appropriate interpretations. Assists in conducting detailed audits, quality reviews, and ad-hoc reporting of all interfaces and batch transactions as needed.

Reviews error reports for data warehouse loads and other file transfers and interfaces to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Ensures that all SLAs related to interface processing are successfully met. May communicate with Interface trading partner(s) on technical issues.

Notifies cross functional teams and program sections of any Interface related issues. Assists with the analysis and interpretation of complex data on all target systems, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to validate requirements. Assists in performing root cause analysis to resolve and validate all interface and batch production issues.

Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by the Department. QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree or 6 years of professional experience in lieu of degree. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office or comparable applications.

Excellent analytical skills; effective organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to set, follow, and meet deadlines.

Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences. DESIRED: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field (e.g. computer science, math, engineering)

Minimum one year of professional experience with database technologies such as SQL, Oracle, Access, or Tableau. Minimum one year of professional experience with Agile development and project management practices. Minimum one year of professional experience with Interface processing of large data groups.

Minimum one year of professional experience with LDH systems or programs utilized by the Department.
