Job description

This role will work out of a location or city within the North Atlantic Region (e.g., New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, or Connecticut) and must be willing to travel to all branch locations. 

As a Field Project Supervisor you will be responsible for producing assigned projects on time, within budget, within scope, within Badger's quality and safety standards, and to the client's satisfaction.

The salary for this role will range between $85,000 and $95,000 based on education and/or work experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assists in executing major project plans ensuring alignment with the overall corporate strategic plan and immediate manager's business plan.
  • Collaborates in meetings with internal (Badger teams) and/or external stakeholders (contractors, vendors) to build relationships and to ensure operational continuity, project budget and timelines/milestones and customer expectations are achieved.
  • Coordinates and communicates project schedules (3-week, 6-week, 3-month look ahead) to keep the project on schedule, providing comments and revisions as applicable.
  • Arranges materials and equipment delivery with vendors as needed.
  • Identifies potential project risks and works with all project stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinates data input for deliverables and reporting.
  • Assists with project safety, environmental, cleanliness, and quality, ensuring compliance with all regulations and objectives.
  • Maintains a consistent on-site presence as the primary Badger contact.
  • Dispatches equipment and operators as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with fleet operating standards and maintenance requirements. Monitors all repair and maintenance costs and takes corrective actions when required.
  • Reviews daily logs for the job site's operations, reporting to management as necessary.
  • Assists in project estimating as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field or 3+ years of an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • At least 2 years' experience in project management/superintendent within the construction industry preferred.

  • Demonstrated managerial leadership capability with capability to deliver organizational value.

  • Experience in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Smart Sheets or equivalent and CRM databases.

  • Proven capability to build and nurture customer relationships and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills at the individual and group level.

  • Demonstrated ability to work within a unionized environment preferred (where applicable). 

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. 

  • Demonstrated ability to think critically, with strong analytical skills. 

  • Ability to travel frequently and work independently in field settings.

  • Experience in relationship building that leads to client satisfaction. 

  • Ability to develop mutual trust and integrity, a role model for others.
