Job Description:
Independent Contractor Occupational Therapist
The Occupational Therapist provides physician prescribed occupational therapy to Improve or minimize residual physical disabilities of the patient. Maintains ongoing communication with Physician, healthcare team, and other individuals as needed regarding aspects of care and patient's status. Help develop the plan of care and revise as necessary. Communicate with Americare Therapy Services as needed regarding issues related to Rehab services and indicated patient care.
Position Qualifications:
  • ONE (1) year of experience, preferred.
  • Licensed by The State of New York as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Graduate from an Occupational therapist curriculum approved by one of the following: The Commission on Accreditation in Occupational Therapy education (CAOTE) or successor organizations of CAOTE.
  • Ability to exercise initiative, work independently and have proactive communication skills
