Their role typically involves helping clients set and achieve health goals, offering guidance on lifestyle changes, disease management, and preventive care. They may work with individuals, groups, or organizations, often using telehealth platforms. As independent contractors, they manage their own schedules, clients, and business operations, offering flexibility and autonomy in their practice.

Join us to make a meaningful impact in the lives of women nationwide.

Do you feel the urge to play a more active role in preventative health for women? Are you passionate about providing holistic and empathetic care? At Coral, a rapidly growing company, you'll have the chance to shape the future of women's healthcare and innovate with us. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Women's health to support our care team (registered nurses and health coach) in prescribing tailored hormone replacement therapy (HRT) when needed by our members. This custom treatment will be built and implemented in collaboration with our medical director. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be a great team player. This part-time unique independent contractor role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to balance your career with personal and other work commitments while being a key player in our mission to contribute to the evolution of women's health in a dynamic and growing environment.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual consultations to assess and manage perimenopause / menopause symptoms.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, including HRT when appropriate, based on patient needs and evidence-based guidelines.
  • Educate patients about perimenopause, treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate closely with RNs and MDs on lab tests, exams, and prescribed medications to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with PIPEDA regulations.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and guidelines related to perimenopause and HRT.
  • Provide a compassionate and supportive environment for patients, fostering trust and open communication.
  • Maintain the highest standards of care.
What We're Looking For

Qualification: BC license required, with additional provinces licenses being a bonus.

Clinical Expertise: You are a NP (Nurse Practitioner) with specialized experience in women's health, hormonal therapy, and holistic care, with a focus on supporting women through peri- to post-menopause. Bonus if you also have basic knowledge of nutrition, exercise, and psychology.

Attention to Detail: You are thorough in client assessments, symptom tracking, and documentation, ensuring every aspect of care is recorded in the EMR.

Strong Communicator: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with patients in a virtual setting.

Collaborative Leader: You are comfortable working closely with Nurses, Doctors, and coaches, providing medical oversight and direction. Ability to escalate situations outside of your expertise to the MDs.

Problem Solver: You can make critical decisions when symptoms escalate or change, ensuring the client's health is always prioritized.

Client-Centered: You are dedicated to improving client outcomes, especially with HRT management, symptom relief, holistic approaches and long-term health improvements.

Adaptability: You can manage the fast-paced nature of virtual healthcare while maintaining high standards of care. You can adapt to a start-up growing and evolving company.

Education: You are passionate about providing education to both clients and our care team, ensuring they understand care plans and treatment options.

Commitment to Evidence-Based Care: You stay up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines in women's health and are committed to applying them in practice.

Comfort with Remote Work: You are comfortable working in a virtual setting and using online medical consultation platforms to connect with clients and manage care. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic medical record systems.
