STATUS: Full Time
LOCATION: Riedman Health Center
DEPARTMENT: Behavioral Health
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday; 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM
Summary:
As a Senior Primary Therapist, your excellent communication and evaluation abilities greatly assist care providers in the assessment and treatment planning for patients with mental illness or those struggling with substance abuse.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provides initial and ongoing assessment, counseling and clinical intervention to a designated caseload.
• Provides individual, group, and family psychotherapy.
• Participates functionally as a member of a multidisciplinary team in coordination and delivery of patient care, and communicates with relevant internal and external care providers.
• Participates in and incorporates professional supervision and ongoing education toward quality care
• Utilizes efficient computer skills to complete all required documentation in a timely and comprehensive manner.
• Maintains a full caseload, meeting productivity requirements and seeks to keep the incidence of failed appointments to a minimum.
• Productivity standards have been met over the past 12 months
• Documentation standards have been met over the past 12 months
• No disciplinary action over the past 12 months
• Ability to supervise interns
• Shows initiative (ie. supervision of an intern or; participation or leading a project team; process development, in charge of a committee in the program)
• Trains, coaches and mentors new therapists
• ACT Program Only: Primary resource for team on integrating family goals and services with the tasks of all team members.
• ACT Program Only: Provides individual and group family psycho-education.
• Health Reach Only: Will be an active member of the Health Reach Continuous Quality Improvement Committee and will participate in other program and community wide activities.
• For Child and Youth Services Only: Off-site and in-home delivery of services to clients and families.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Masters Degree or PHD in Human Services field required.
  • Two years of mental health experience preferred.
  • Required Licensure / Certification Skills: LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LCAT, LMFT or earned doctorate in human services field required. Limited permit or license required within 6 months of hire.
