Low Voltage Technician — Full-Time Abstract Enterprises Security Systems | New York, NY NYS Licensed Low-Voltage Contractor (#12000287431)

About the Role

Abstract Enterprises Security Systems is hiring experienced Low Voltage Technicians to join our growing field operations team across the five boroughs, Long Island, and the Hudson Valley. This is a hands-on role for technicians who take pride in clean installations, work efficiently without close supervision, and want consistent, well-paying work with a company that respects skilled trades.

What You'll Do

  • Install, service, and troubleshoot access control systems, maglocks, and intercoms
  • Install and repair CCTV systems and commercial security camera networks
  • Service and troubleshoot fire alarm systems
  • Mount televisions and install AV equipment in residential and commercial environments
  • Run and fish low-voltage cabling through finished walls, ceilings, and conduit
  • Perform device installations, service calls, and customer-facing diagnostics

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated low-voltage field experience across access control, CCTV, and fire alarm systems
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Current OSHA 30 certification and SST Card (required — applications without these credentials cannot be considered)
  • Reliable personal transportation
