Job description

Description We are seeking a Full Stack Developer & DevOps Engineer to support and expand our hybrid infrastructure, development workflows, and system deployment capabilities. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes-based environments (including K8s and K3s), secure identity frameworks, and modern DevOps practices. * Working across the full development and deployment stack-building application features, maintaining secure and resilient infrastructure, and supporting containerized environments using Harbor, Quay.io, and similar registries * Designing and managing on-premise cloud-like environments, supporting infrastructure-as-code workflows, and contribute to secure system architectures leveraging Keycloak and zero-trust principles * Working across the full stack, building reliable deployment processes, and shaping modern infrastructure within a dynamic engineering team #LI-TF1 Requirements * Professional experience as a Full Stack Developer and/or DevOps Engineer supporting production systems * Strong proficiency with Linux environments, specifically RHEL, Rocky Linux, or similar distributions * Hands-on experience with Kubernetes ecosystems (K8s, K3s, or equivalent) for container orchestration * Experience working with container registries, including Harbor, Quay.io, and other on-premise or cloud-based registry systems * Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and tooling * Experience working with authentication/authorization systems such as Keycloak and understanding of zero-trust security principles * Ability to design, deploy, and maintain cloud-like infrastructure on on-premise environments * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience Desired Skills * Experience with JFrog Artifactory or similar package management systems * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated build/deploy workflows * Experience maintaining or developing full-stack applications using modern frameworks on both front-end and back-end * Understanding of distributed systems, networking fundamentals, and service mesh architectures * Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Helm) * Ability to troubleshoot complex system interactions across containers, registries, and orchestration layers * Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across development, infrastructure, and security teams * Experience supporting hybrid environments spanning on-premise and cloud-based resources Clearance Information SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL Travel Requirements * Domestic travel up to 10% of the year (approximately two weeks) for site visits, security assessments, or briefings at other DoD locations * International travel typically less than 5% of the year, only when needed for coordination with overseas partners and subject to clearance approval * Primarily on-site at the assigned location About Us Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
