Job Title: Python Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: Contract

Responsibilities:

· Work closely with RM Pricing Transformation Analytics team to translate analytical prototypes into production models including associated scripting, error handling and documentation.

· Execute updates to production models, working with RM and NJ IT as required.

· Independently able to make minor changes to the production code if input or output structures change, e.g., fields are added, renamed or redefined, or service groups added; and d) Perform regular maintenance of production models including troubleshooting of TP 2.0 internal errors captured in the TP 2.0 error log.

Details of Position:

· Strong SQL skills (creating complex statements, views, tables, etc.)

· 2+ years of Python experience; pandas & scipy packages as well.

· Expert level proficiency in SQL, Data Modeling, Data Quality.

· Experience with an ETL tool (e.g. Talend, Data Stage, SSIS, Pentaho, etc.)

· Data Warehousing knowledge / experience (Dimensional and Schema design).

· Ability to write small scripts in Unix / Bash

Management Skills:

· Application development experience using advanced Python skills required.

· SQL Server query performance optimization, file manipulation, exception handling.

· 5-8 years of experience in systems analysis, applications development and systems architecture

· T-SQL experience - performance tuning, DTS/SSIS, stored procedures, triggers, views. Microsoft SQL Server dbms expertise preferred.
