Job description

Under the direction of the Supervisor, Mobile & E-Commerce, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating, executing, and optimizing data driven marketing campaigns across various platforms. This includes leveraging First Party data to create paid digital and traditional campaigns to drive guest loyalty and generate new acquisitions for Yaamava' Resort & Casino and other properties.
This position is a key part of the Mobile & E-Commerce team that will work collaboratively and independently to ensure First Party marketing initiatives are executed strategically, efficiently, and timely, while producing positive revenue.

This position is fulltime onsite in Highland, CA. No remote or hybrid options available.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Creates and executes integrated First Party digital (Paid Social, Programmatic, Search Ads, CTV, Display, etc) and traditional (Direct Mail, Billboard, etc) marketing campaigns and promotions to increase guest loyalty, revenue, and acquisition.
2. Works collaboratively with Mobile & E-Commerce team, other internal departments, and third-party vendors to develop and execute campaigns. This includes generating offers and promotions, gathering creative assets, target lists, and campaign approvals, while ensuring timely execution.
3. Strategically determines budgeting breakdown and allocation to ensure positive ROI.
4. Uses SAS and third-party reporting tools to analyze post-campaign results and provides insights and recommendations to key stakeholders. Utilizes Microsoft Power Bi to create dynamic visual dashboards.
5. Maintains marketing campaign calendars to ensure leadership is aligned and deadlines are met.
6. Actively stays up to date with current marketing trends and research.
7. Performs other duties as assigned to support the ecient operation of the department.

EDUCATIONAL, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or equivalent required.

  • Minimum of two (2) year experience in communication and marketing channels including e-mail, mobile, digital advertising, sales, digital/social gaming, relationship marketing, or social media is required.

  • Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)

  • Previous experience within the following areas strongly preferred:

    • Paid Social - Facebook Ads, Google Ads, or Direct Buys

    • Programmatic - CTV, Display, Video, or Audio Ads

    • Analytics - Google Analysts, Firebase, GTM, Facebook, or Power BI

    • Content Creation - Social, Display, Video, or Audio

    • E-Commerce Platforms - Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or Adobe Commerce

    • Search Engine - SEO, SEM, or App Store Optimization

  • Must be able to work collaboratively and independently.

  • Must have demonstrable oral and written communication skills.

  • Must be assertive, detail oriented and have strong organizational skills.

  • Must possess a curiosity and a willingness to take calculated risks with potential for a positive return on investment (ROI).

  • Must be able to translate business goals and outcomes and create actionable, measurable plans.

REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS

  • At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ WORKING CONDITIONS - ENVIRONMENT

  • Primary work environment is in a climate-controlled casino and office setting.

  • Visual acuity that meets the requirements of the position: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading and visual inspection of employees, visitors or facility.

  • Mobility sufficient to safely move in an office environment, walk, stoop, bend and kneel, and enter, exit and operate a motor vehicle in the course of travel to promotional events, meetings, conferences, trade shows and San Manuel properties.

  • Endurance sufficient to sit, walk and stand for extended periods, and maintain efficiency throughout the entire work shift and during extended work hours.

  • The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including secondhand smoke.
