Test & Trials Worker A / Electrical

Location: Pascagoula, MS
Pay:$32/Hr

Summary

We are hiring an experienced Electrical Test & Trials Worker to support testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and sea trial activities for marine vessels. This role is responsible for verifying the functionality and performance of shipboard electrical systems, diagnosing and correcting electrical issues, and ensuring all systems meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements prior to vessel delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong marine electrical experience, exceptional troubleshooting abilities, and experience working with electrical control systems, motors, VFDs, transformers, and shipboard equipment.

Must-Haves

  • Minimum 4 years of electrical experience.
  • Marine, shipyard, or shipbuilding electrical experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical circuits and control systems.
  • Proficient in using multimeters and electrical testing equipment.
  • Working knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems.
  • Ability to independently diagnose and repair electrical issues.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and at elevated heights.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
