Data Entry Operator

This position will perform data entry to support the Chapter 102 erosion and sediment control program in order to meet critical deadlines. Projects are assigned with detailed procedural guidance, and work results are evaluated for quality, effectiveness, and adherence to job standards. The employee completes the following duties: Enter and verify information into eFACTS. Enter data for permit applications into an Access database. Assist with filing division and bureau records. Open, sort and distribute mail to the appropriate bureau staff. Assist staff with the preparation of mailings. Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate staff within the NPDES Permitting Division. Assist with photo-copying projects within the bureau. The employee is also required to perform similar job-related duties and follow other job-related instructions as assigned by the supervisor.
