This cardiology opportunity offers weekday inpatient rounding and call coverage, strong team support, and a manageable schedule in a welcoming southern Ohio community with access to Columbus, Cincinnati, and Huntington.

  • Position: Locum Tenens Cardiology Physician
  • Specialty: Internal Medicine - Cardiology
  • Location: Portsmouth, OH
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,160 - $7,290
  • Start Date: August 31, 2026
  • End Date: September 25, 2026
  • Coverage Blocks: August 31-September 4, September 14-18, and September 21-25
  • Schedule: Weekday inpatient rounding with call coverage; no weekend call

Job Requirements
  • Board certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of cardiology experience required
  • Active physician licensure and eligibility for hospital privileges
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required

  • Comfort with non-invasive cardiology services, including echocardiography, TEE, nuclear cardiology, and STEMI management
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced inpatient environment
