Overview

This opportunity is open to both subcontractors and Employees. (compensation plans vary accordingly)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cable Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network installation and maintenance, with hands-on experience in cabling, fiber optics and low voltage electrical systems. As a Cable Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper installation, testing, and troubleshooting of cable systems, providing excellent service to our clients while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair fiber optic cabling systems, including internet and wifi
  • Conduct thorough testing of cable installations using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure functionality.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and service personnel to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation details and service reports.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while working with low voltage electrical systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role related to computer networking and cabling.
