Job description

Grinding Loader/ Operator
Union City, OK

Red River Brick, a leading brand of the General Shale network in the Southwest U.S., is hiring a Grinding Loader / Operator for our manufacturing facility in Union City, Oklahoma.

This position is responsible for operating and monitoring grinding equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates must be able to work safely, both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow all safety rules and procedures
  • Complete pre-operation checks to ensure equipment starts and runs properly
  • Operate and monitor multiple pieces of equipment to reduce downtime
  • Report and document equipment issues to the supervisor
  • Monitor equipment condition and maintain daily records
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
  • Ensure ground material meets quality standards
  • Maintain proper material levels
  • Assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • At least 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Forklift, loader, or backhoe experience preferred, or willingness to learn
  • Heavy equipment and belt conveyor experience is a plus
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
  • Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work well with others
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform physical work
  • Flexible schedule availability
