ISO 27001 Lead Auditor / Client Manager
Independent Contractor | United States | Up to 100% Travel
Are you a fully qualified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor who thrives on travel and helping organizations strengthen their information security management systems?
We're seeking experienced Independent Contractor ISO 27001 Lead Auditors to conduct third-party certification assessments for clients across the United States.
Candidates may be based anywhere in the U.S. This opportunity is ideal for experienced auditors who are already fully qualified and able to independently conduct certification audits.
What You'll Do:
  • Conduct third-party audits against ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)
  • Evaluate management systems and identify opportunities for continual improvement
  • Prepare accurate, professional audit reports and certification recommendations
  • Build trusted client relationships while delivering an exceptional audit experience
  • Plan assessment schedules, coordinate travel, and manage your own workload
  • Lead audit teams and mentor other auditors when appropriate

What You'll Bring:
  • Current qualification as an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor (required)
  • Demonstrated experience independently conducting third-party ISO 27001 certification audits
  • Strong understanding of information security management systems, risk management, and auditing principles
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, travel-intensive environment
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively
  • Additional ISO scheme qualifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 22301, ISO 20000-1, ISO 27701, ISO 42001) are a plus
