1099 Independent Contractor | Houston, TX | Flexible, Hybrid Field-Based Role

What You'll Do
As a Field Nurse Case Manager, you'll coordinate medical care for injured workers and act as the connective tissue between providers, employers, adjusters, and attorneys:

  • Coordinate and oversee medical treatment plans
  • Attend appointments and evaluate treatment progression
  • Communicate across providers, employers, attorneys, and carriers
  • Assess medical necessity and appropriateness of care
  • Prepare timely, detailed case management reports
  • Support return-to-work and transitional duty planning
  • Coordinate IMEs and job site evaluations

What You Bring

  • Active Texas RN license
  • 3+ years of Workers' Comp Field Case Management experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Comfort working independently with a flexible caseload
  • Proficiency with electronic documentation systems
  • Reliable transportation across the greater Houston area
  • Malpractice insurance, or the ability to obtain it
  • CCM, CRRN, or similar certification a plus - bilingual candidates encouraged
