Independent Contractor Architectural Rendering Jobs in Tulsa, OK

This position is responsible for forecasting costs for potential field projects under the guidance of a Senior Estimator, Estimating Supervisor, and/or Regional Estimating Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Reviews specification information and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.

Organizes bid components to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Performs takeoffs on blueprints (i.e., circuiting and scaling drawings, counting devices and equipment, etc).

Consults with clients, vendors, foremen/superintendents, and project managers to discuss and formulate estimates.

Confers with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.

Finalizes and follows up on completed bids.

Attends job site walk throughs with Senior Estimator and/or Estimating Supervisor as necessary.

Achieves $4,000,000/year in awarded jobs.

Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and one to two years of electrical estimating experience

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

Experience in Accubid is preferred.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Strong mathematical skills are required.

Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
