Job Description

The Finishing Preditor manages the assembly and preparation of final delivery assets using creatively approved promotional content. This role involves adapting materials for a diverse array of distribution channels-from linear television to various social media platforms-while strictly adhering to established brand guidelines.
A deep technical understanding of audio and video specifications, such as frame rates, aspect ratios, and codecs, is required. The successful candidate must be a detail-oriented professional capable of working independently and solving problems proactively within a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and its associated software suite is a fundamental requirement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create versions of creatively approved promotional materials in Adobe Premiere Pro to meet distribution needs of marketing teams
  • Work within Adobe Premiere Pro sequences that include multiple video and audio tracks, graphics, subtitles and Mogrts to create technically accurate, brand compliant deliverables
  • Understand and professionally interpret revisions throughout entire creation process
  • Generate and ingest projects using OMF, AAF, EDL, XML, and other media transport bundles to facilitate transfers between editing systems
  • Utilize asset management systems to browse available media content and publish final outputs
  • Exhibit disciplined metadata management across projects, applications, and databases to optimize collaboration
  • Troubleshoot NLE workstation, applications, and performance of connected services, to determine whether escalation is required
  • QC all output to ensure accuracy and adherence to technical standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or similar work experience) with emphasis in Film, Digital Media and/or Television Production required
  • Proven national-level editorial experience, manifest in a professionally produced reel
  • Experience editing with multiple video tracks, picture effects, to and from a variety of aspect ratios and frame rates, using contributed motion graphics and with multiple discreet audio channels
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities as a team player and on an individual basis
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project software applications

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent planning and time management skills
  • Passion for Original Programming and story telling
  • Strong curiosity in Post-Production tools and workflows

COMPENSATION:

$90,000-$100,000
