Position Description
The Contract Administrator supports Applied Medical's operations by managing the full contract lifecycle, from proposal through execution and ongoing administration. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient, compliant, and accurate handling of distribution agreements, product supply contracts, and pricing agreements across the medical device industry. The Contract Administrator collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, sales, and operations, to facilitate contract negotiations, maintain contract data integrity, and drive timely execution. This position contributes directly to operational efficiency, revenue enablement, and customer satisfaction by ensuring contracts are processed accurately and efficiently within contract management systems and enterprise platforms such as SAP.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, revising, and executing distribution agreements, product supply agreements, and pricing contracts
  • Review and redline terms and conditions using company templates and customer agreements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business objectives
  • Collaborate with legal counsel and cross-functional teams to assess legal language, mitigate risk, and support contract negotiations
  • Coordinate with customers and internal team members to facilitate timely contract execution and maintain momentum throughout the contracting process
  • Administer contract workflows and maintain contract data using a contract management system (CMS) or contract lifecycle management (CLM) system and SAP
  • Track contract milestones, renewals, expiration dates, and key deliverables to ensure continuity and compliance
  • Support Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP) processes by developing responses and tracking contract-related trends
  • Maintain contract reporting tools, status trackers, and dashboards to provide visibility into contract progress and performance
