About this Role

As an Inside Sales Representative with Carrier Commercial Service, you will support the sales process by helping customers and field sales teams identify optimal solutions. You will coordinate accurate estimates, prepare pricing documentation and contracts, and deliver timely support across product, pricing, and service opportunities.

Role Location

This role will predominantly be onsite supporting customers. The ideal candidate will be based in Phoenix, Arizona to support customers and Carrier growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Process & Customer Support: Guide customers to right-fit solutions, answer inbound inquiries, and articulate product features based on client needs, specifications, and system limitations.
  • Estimating & Contract Management: Collaborate with sales and estimating leadership to prepare, interpret, and maintain accurate quotes, configurations, and proposal documentation.
  • Service & Repair Support: Partner directly with market sellers to build out comprehensive, competitive quotes for repair and service opportunities.
  • Sell and assist sales process; emphasize product features and select materials based on customer need, specifications, interests, demand, capabilities and limitations.
  • Coordinate estimating processes; work with customer, sales teams, estimating and leadership to generate accurate pricing proposals for new and existing products.
  • Maintain and interpret all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations; prepare quotes and contracts for potential customers.
  • Work with sellers in your assigned market to build out comprehensive quotes for repair and service opportunities.
  • Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of commercial HVAC sales or industrial sales, commercial HVAC service contractor experience, technical sales, sales engineering, or account management experience in HVAC, building systems, mechanical services, controls, or energy services.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Facility Management, or Business
  • HVAC industry knowledge
  • Aptitude to understand building mechanical system basics, facility management budgeting processes, sustainability initiatives, and customer needs
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present to clients and key stakeholders
  • Strong team building and relationship building ability and desire
  • Sales at Carrier Lucrative Commission Plan Structure with unlimited potential Lead Generation Programs focused on identifying and supporting sellers in customer engagements and expanded selling opportunities
  • Balance of Account Management and New Customer Engagement Strength of an experienced local team backed by the resources of a global leader and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Development path for Sellers to skyrocket their career into other areas within the business
Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 - $129,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.

Other Compensation

Thisposition may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
