Position Summary  

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the accurate and efficient receipt, inspection, handling, preparation, storage, and shipment of printers, copiers, and related equipment within the warehouse. This role supports core warehouse operations by receiving inbound inventory, identifying and documenting visible damage or discrepancies, preparing outbound LTL and parcel shipments, performing cycle counts to support inventory accuracy, ensuring equipment is properly processed, and organizing materials for operational readiness. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality procedures, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a fast-paced operations team. The pay range for this role is $22.00-$24.00 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities   

  • Receive and process inbound shipments, including verifying quantities and routing equipment, supplies, and materials to appropriate staging or storage locations.   
  • Inspect equipment and materials to identify damage, missing components, or discrepancies, and ensure findings are properly documented in accordance with company procedures.   
  • Prepare equipment and materials for internal operations, including staging, inventory movement, and support of daily workflow priorities.   
  • Prepare and process outbound shipments, including packaging, labeling, documentation, and staging for LTL and parcel carrier pickup in accordance with company and carrier requirements.   
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and handle materials in compliance with established procedures and safety standards.   
  • Maintain accurate inventory and documentation, including completing required records, supporting cycle counts, and assisting with reconciliation activities.   
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including housekeeping, proper storage, and adherence to safety protocols.   
  • Participate in safety programs, including attending required meetings and following all safety procedures.  
  • Receive inbound shipments of printers, copiers, supplies, parts, and related equipment; verify quantities against shipping documentation; and route items to the appropriate warehouse staging or storage areas.   
  • Inspect incoming and staged equipment to identify visible damage, missing components, or other discrepancies, and document findings in accordance with company procedures.   
  • Prepare equipment, supplies, and materials for internal workflow priorities, inventory movement, and scheduled warehouse operations.   
  • Operate warehouse equipment (i.e., forklifts, pallet jacks, etc..) to safely and efficiently transport products throughout the facility in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.   
  • Maintain accurate warehouse records and complete required operational documentation in a timely manner to support inventory accuracy and process compliance.   
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation activities to maintain accurate stock records and support warehouse inventory control processes.   
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment through general housekeeping, pallet and packaging removal, recycling, proper storage practices, and routine work area upkeep.   
  • Participate in required safety meetings and follow all safety protocols.   
  • Additional duties as assigned.   

Qualifications and Experience   

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • High School Diploma or GED.   
  • 2+ years of warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience.   
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and company procedures.   
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and employees.   
  • Strong attention to detail orientation.   
  • Basic computer experience - MS Office.   

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • 2+ years of forklift experience.   
  • Ability to travel.   

Physical Requirements   

The physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The physical requirements for performing the essential functions of this position require the employee to be able to:  

  • Safely move and position equipment within the warehouse using appropriate material-handling methods and equipment.   
  • Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods   
  • Lifting and moving items up to 50lbs, sometimes with assistance or equipment   
  • Pushing heavy electronics with wheels weighing up to 300lbs   
  • Operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment (certification preferred or provided)   
  • Working near packaging materials, shrink-wrap machines, and occasionally exposed to toner dust   
  • Read a computer screen and written material.   
  • Write, type, and use a phone system.
