Houston, TX
12+ Month Contract
Pay: 23.00/hr, W 2
Summary:
  • Shift: Monday - Friday from 6am to 4:00pm
  • Must be able to work some weekends
Responsibilities:
  • Read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Apply concepts of basic math.
  • Receive inbound material from outside suppliers, customers, and other company plants and field locations using forklifts and pallet stackers.
  • Receive and process orders using administrative software tools (ORACLE).
  • Stock received material, as well as completed products and assemblies from in-house production.
  • Pick materials, components, and end products and deliver them to Production or shipping.
  • Perform cycle counts when needed.
  • Prepare orders and materials to ship to customers or vendors.
  • Perform ad-hoc warehouse duties as required to support the business.
  • Ensure high standards of HSE are maintained.
  • Work independently.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in English and eligible to work in the US, holding a US passport/work permit with no requirement for future sponsorship.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 35 lbs.
  • Forklift license (previously or currently) and pallet stacker experience.
  • Ability to operate a forklift while loading or unloading freight.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a warehouse.
Preferred Skills:
  • Oracle experience is strongly preferred.
  • Good quality and HSE mindset approaching processes and procedures in a warehouse environment.
  • Health and Safety driven mindset and practical, pragmatic approach to hands-on problem solving.
