The Logistics Associate will be responsible for the coordinating and tracking of all bulk production inbound and outbound shipments from our mills to factory and factory to Mashburn Warehouse. A successful candidate will develop a deep knowledge of tracking, analyzing and monitoring total company spend on freight and guide us in the right direction for future carrier contracts. Associate will be support to logistics manager and has opportunity to build out the logistics department.WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES? Inbound LogisticsDaily communication with freight forwarder, origin factories, and the Mashburn DC to track shipment status Assist origin factories with scheduling freight pickups Send ASNs to Mashburn DC ahead of bulk shipments Communicate delivery timing and any discrepancies (short shipments, damage, wrong counts) to the DC and Production team Flag urgent/time-sensitive shipments to the DC in advance of arrival Own shipping supply inventory (labels, poly bags, cartons) and set reorder points to avoid stockouts Support customs broker document requests - invoices, packing lists - for timely clearanceData Maintenance & ReportingMaintain the ship log for all shipments, including cost per shipmentValidate HTS classifications with Production/compliance as neededTrack and report freight cost trends monthly to Production leadership (cost per unit, cost per shipment by mode/origin)Attend weekly product status meetingsCoordinate outbound sample shipments across teamsCreate, maintain, and communicate the weekly TOP (Top of Production) sample shipment scheduleRequirements1–3 years of experience in logistics, import coordination, or production support (apparel/fashion industry strongly preferred)Proficiency in Excel; experience with a WMS or ERP system (ShipHero, Counterpoint, or similar) a plusComfortable working across time zones with overseas vendors and freight partnersEssentialsExceptional interpersonal skills - able to quickly build cross-functional relationships and influence outcomes without direct authorityHighly organized and detail-oriented; genuinely enjoys finding the needle in the haystackResourceful problem solver with a "no task is too small" attitudeFlexible, positive, and creative under pressure and tight deadlinesProactive - anticipates issues and opportunities rather than waiting to be toldReflects our core values: Hard Work, Hopefulness, Helpfulness, Honesty, Nimble, Humility, and Honor
