What we’re looking for:

As Warehouse Operations Supervisor with Envision Cold, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of our business. This position involves handling various aspects of warehouse management to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your ability to lead a team, ensuring they are working safely and efficiently, is crucial to our success.


What you’ll do (including, but not limited to):

  • Manage a team of Associates, including performance, training and scheduling.
  • Create and maintain an environment that is conducive to teamwork and collaboration.
  • Identify inefficiencies in the facility and work collaboratively with staff and leaders towards a resolution.
  • Ensure products are being handled, stored and managed in accordance with all State and Federal regulations.
  • Uphold standard operating procedures for staging product in coolers and freezers.
  • Review inventory to monitor occupancy levels.
  • Audit work orders and all documents for accuracy
  • Review inspection sheets, driver check-in sheets and shipping documents before signing to validate information, completeness, and legibility.
  • Adhere to all safety related procedures and work with Associates to create a “safety first” work environment.
  • Process all accidents in a timely manner and record all work incidents/near misses as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with Departments for use of docks.
  • Make certain all customer requests and correspondence are followed up with clear, transparent, communications in a timely fashion.
  • Monitor systems and correspondence to ensure that Associates are proactively keeping customers informed on status of loads.
  • Ensure warehouse personnel receive clear instructions via WMS for each inbound/outbound shipment.
  • Confirm all services and activities performed during the day are sent timely to Accounting for billing.
  • Follow company policies and regulations regarding cold storage operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned/needed.

  • Regularly required to stand, sit, reach, bend, twist, kneel and use hands to handle various products.
  • Consistently lift, move, push, pull and carry upwards of 40 lbs. depending on product and business operations.
  • Occasionally lift, move, push, pull and carry upwards of 100 lbs. with assistance depending on product and business operations.
  • Work around, on or near a variety of equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, warehouse racking systems, electronic devices and refrigeration systems.

  • Inclement weather subject to loading and receiving dock configuration.
  • Interior temperatures between 70 to -15 degrees Fahrenheit (21 to -26 degrees Celsius)
Requirements:

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education.
  • Minimum 3 years’ supervisor experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Strong computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with Food Safety requirements and responsibilities highly preferred.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility with schedule to support business needs.
