Seasonal Staff for Tuxedo Inbound

About the Job
Perform all tasks involved in the processing of rental tuxedos inbound and outbound. This includes breaking down and separating used tuxedo garments, scanning and bagging, cleaning and re-bagging shoes. Receiving, scanning, auditing, inspecting and putting away garments from cleaners, as well as shoes, and accessories. Pull tuxedo orders, ensure quality control, matching, and bag finished products. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
What You'll Do | Key Accountabilities
  • Performs work as assigned by department supervisor
  • Breaking down and separating garments from used tuxedos
  • Scanning and bagging garments to be sent to cleaners
  • Cleaning and re-bagging shoes
  • Receiving, auditing, and inspecting of garments returned from cleaners
  • Scanning, measuring out-seams and sleeves, sorting and sizing of garments returned from cleaners
  • Restock garments returned from cleaners as well as accessories for re-use
  • Put away clean shoes for re-use
  • Pull tuxedo orders to include coat, pants, shirts, shoes and accessories.
  • Ensure quality control measures on outgoing tuxedo orders
  • Matching garments and shoes on new rental orders
  • Bag finished product and label destination
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • All staff are expected to be available to work in all areas of production
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required

Skills & Experience
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to work in Distribution Center and work in all areas of tuxedo production
  • Have the ability to learn to read and understand picking tickets
  • Have the ability to learn to and use R/F (Radio Frequency) Scanner
  • The ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Must be customer oriented
  • The ability to learn new skills and follow directions
  • Must be detail and deadline oriented
  • Must be able to work overtime during peak season
  • Must be able to work Saturdays as needed
  • Must be able to lift 30 to 50lbs (some tasks may require repetitive lifting of 30 to 50 lbs.)
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic math, counting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn basic computer skills
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment

Reporting - Working Relationships
Reports directly to Tuxedo Management.
Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
• Continuously standing, walking, sitting, reaching and working overhead, climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, stretching, crouching, and crawling
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for grasping, reaching, pulling, and pushing
• Frequent use of ladders and/or lift equipment
• Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds or more
ENVIRONMENTWORKING CONDITIONS
This position is in a warehouse setting environment and physical requirements include but may not be limited to good hand/eye coordination, continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending, reaching overhead and repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs. for long periods of time.
