## Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Welding Supervisor to join our team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will oversee our welding operations, ensuring that all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. If you have a passion for welding and a knack for leadership, we want to hear from you!

## Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily welding activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

  • Train and mentor welding staff, promoting skill development and best practices.

  • Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.

  • Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to meet project deadlines.

  • Conduct regular inspections of welding work to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve any welding-related issues.

  • Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including production reports and employee performance evaluations.

  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

    Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in welding preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Welding Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety standards.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Familiarity with welding inspection and testing procedures.

  • Certifications in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) are a plus.

You should be proficient in:

  • Tape Measure Reading
  • Welding Setups for Production
  • Blueprint Reading
