About the Role

ADCO Roofing & Waterproofing is looking for a hands-on Junior Estimator/Inspector to join our team. You'll split your time between the field and the office, supporting a steady mix of commercial roofing and waterproofing projects. It's a great opportunity to grow your career with a company that takes pride in quality work.

What You'll Do

  • Perform roof inspections, identify issues, and recommend solutions
  • Read blueprints and flashing details; document deficiencies with photos and sketches
  • Report on roof and flashing system conditions and recommend maintenance or repair
  • Assist with estimates and proposals

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of roofing or construction experience
  • Strong knowledge of roofing materials, common defects, and the California Building Code
  • Ability to accurately document and report field findings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for day-to-day communication and scheduling
  • Willingness to learn AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude) and drone operation for inspections and documentation
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Comfortable with outdoor work and a full-time weekday schedule

Preferred Qualifications

  • Takeoff software experience (PlanSwift, The EDGE, or similar)
  • Confidence reading blueprints and flashing details
