For our Specialty Food Division, we are looking for an experienced Technical & Commercial Sales Manager who combines product management expertise with strong commercial skills. Based in our Dubai office, you will be responsible for managing and further developing customer relationships, with a strong focus on emulsifier blends, functional ingredients, and modified starches across various industries.

WHO WE ARE

Royal Ingredients Group, headquartered in Alkmaar and part of the Cefetra Group, is an international trading company with offices in the Netherlands, the United States, India, China, Dubai, Mexico, and Spain. We specialize in the trade of starches, sugars, and plant-based proteins for the food, feed, and paper industries, and we operate in more than 100 countries.

THE ROLE

As a Technical Sales Manager, you are a technically skilled sales professional with a background in food engineering and commercial experience. • Build, manage, and strengthen customer relationships
  • Advise customers on the optimal use of emulsifier blends and starch solutions
  • Support application trials and pilot productions
  • Assist with recipe development and process optimization
  • Identify market trends and translate them into commercial opportunities
  • Drive revenue growth, prepare quotations, and lead negotiations
  • Act as a key link between customers, sales, suppliers, and R&D
  • Based in Dubai
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Proven experience with emulsifiers and functional blends

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology or a related field
  • Experience in dairy (cream, desserts, plant-based alternatives) and bakery (bread, cakes, patisserie)
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical/commercial sales within the food ingredients sector
  • Experience in the GCC region
  • Ability to effectively connect process, development, and commercial aspects
  • Experience with international B2B customers
WHAT WE OFFER
  • A competitive salary
  • Country-specific employment conditions depending on location
  • An attractive bonus scheme
  • Opportunities for growth and development within the company
