Salary Pay Range: 

Min $18.27 HourlyMax $20.11 Hourly This salary range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At NEU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.Responsibilities
  • Handle, carry, load and unload the customer's belongings efficiently and safely complying with procedures.
  • Pack and store the customer's belongings in a safe and neat manner
  • Arrange the necessary packing materials such as cartons, cushions, tools and instruments such as hand truck, panel dolly, and machine cart.
  • Judge whether the regular packing in proper or special warehouse packing is required.
  • Arrange the Masonite plates in case of office moving
  • Ensure items are moved with no damage during the move
  • Ability to use assigned equipment such as forklift, dolly, etc. to move customer's belongings to the designated storage place.
  • Drive company van and vehicles assigned to perform household goods pick-ups and deliveries in compliance with company policies and traffic regulations.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and operate company vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Other duties as assigned for a successful and safe move
  • Support DC/CFS operations
Qualifications
  • One-year experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work closely with a team in a respectful and professional manner
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
  • Ability to frequently stand, bend, twist, reach, lift, push, pull, carry heavy objects repeatedly
  • Forklift experience a plus
  • Ability to work overtime as needed

Organization Relationships:

Will work closely with the Household Goods moving team as well as interact with customers on the job site
