SNI Companies is searching for RNs to support our client in the Jacksonville, FL area. Our client is a vibrant, growing pediatric practice who is recognized as a national leader in pediatric population health and medical home integration. The ideal candidate will have previous pediatric patient care and case management experience. An active Florida RN license is required.
Contract-to-Hire Position
Pay Rate: $35.00 - $43.00 an hour (depending on experience/education)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM (in-office)

Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Clinic
Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in this pediatric clinic is responsible for delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care through clinical expertise, case management, and telehealth services. This role includes care coordination, clinical assessment, patient and family education, lab result review, quality assurance through medical record audits, and support of daily clinic operations. The RN works collaboratively with providers and staff to ensure optimal health outcomes for pediatric patients.
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct telehealth appointments, including clinical assessments, triage, and patient follow-up care within scope of practice
  • Provide comprehensive case management by coordinating care plans, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring continuity of care
  • Review laboratory results, identify abnormalities, and notify patients or guardians with appropriate instructions per provider direction
  • Deliver patient and family education on diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and preventative health practices
  • Perform regular audits of medical records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards
  • Assist providers and clinical staff with patient overflow, including triaging patients, conducting newborn screenings, and documenting patient information
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to optimize patient care and clinic workflow
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
Requirements:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
  • 3+ years of pediatric, outpatient, telehealth, and/or case management experience
  • Knowledge of pediatric care practices and developmental stages
  • Experience with care coordination and chronic disease management in pediatric populations
  • Strong patient education and counseling skills
  • Experience reviewing lab results and communicating clinical information to patients
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes and medical record auditing
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative care team
