Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level 3 Labor & Delivery position in Carmel, IN, working night shifts in a fast-paced unit delivering 2,000+ babies annually.

Details
  • Level 3 Labor & Delivery unit with 8 beds, 3 triage rooms, 2 OR suites, and 4 antepartum (ATP) rooms
  • Supports both medicated and unmedicated laboring patients, with 4 midwives and 26 OB physicians on staff
  • Circulates C-sections in addition to standard L&D care
  • Night shift: 7:00 PM โ€“ 7:30 AM
  • Weekend and holiday coverage required per unit need
Requirements
  • Active IN RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
  • BLS certification required (AHA only)
  • ACLS certification required (AHA only)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required (AHA/AAP)
  • NRP Advanced certification required (AHA/AAP)
  • Fetal monitoring certification required โ€” AWHONN, Relias, or equivalent program completed within the past 2 years (if not covered by competency exam)
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
  • Two professional references required
  • Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
  • Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients through the delivery process, including C-section circulation and support for both medicated and unmedicated births
  • Works collaboratively with a team of midwives and OB physicians to achieve optimal patient outcomes
