Registered Nurse-Urology-Ambulatory

Join the Urology team at Arnett MAB and practice in a fast-paced, patient-centered IU Health ambulatory clinic where your expertise truly makes an impact. In this busy Urology office, responsibilities include rooming and discharging patients, assisting with procedures, administering injections, Foley catheter insertions and removals, PVRs, and voiding trials while supporting up to two providers alongside a collaborative physician team. Qualifications:

  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
  • Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
