Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time, Days & Nights (12 hours) - Oakland, MD

Job Summary:

Dennett Rehab Center, a beautiful 99-bed skilled nursing facility in Oakland, Maryland, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide hands-on care, critical assessments, and clinical leadership to our residents. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional care and are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply.

Sign On Bonus: $20,000

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

  • Assess and monitor residents' health status and respond promptly to changes

  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team

  • Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs as needed

  • Document accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)

  • Follow all policies and procedures of the facility

  • Serve as charge nurses when assigned

  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities

  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information

  • Demonstrate respect of resident rights and dignity

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in Maryland or Multistate license

  • CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)

  • Prior experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus, but we will train the right candidate

  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
