TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Oncology RN in Cleveland, Ohio, 44106!

Registered Nurse โ€“ Surgical Oncology MIU / Step Down Unit

Location

Cleveland, OH

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shifts (7:00 AMโ€“7:30 PM / 7:00 PMโ€“7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Oncology Medical Intermediate Unit and Step Down setting
  • Monitor and assess patients requiring step-down level care following surgical oncology procedures
  • Perform telemetry monitoring and respond to changes in patient cardiac status
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or compact license eligibility
  • Experience in oncology nursing
  • Experience in step-down or intermediate care unit nursing
  • Experience with surgical patient care
  • Telemetry monitoring competency
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior experience in a Surgical Oncology or Medical Intermediate Unit (MIU) environment
  • Familiarity with post-surgical oncology patient management and care protocols
