Job description

Nursing care (RN) in an industrial setting / remote mining site (Havre-Saint-Pierre) Willing to work in the area mentioned and ideally owns a means of transport. Ability to work in one of the following settings: CHSLD, CLSC, hospital (CH) or private setting. Location: Quebec City, Havre-Saint-Pierre Contract type: Full-time or part-time (permanent/fixed-term contract depending on needs) Compensation: Up to $95/assignment + bonuses, transportation reimbursement, ongoing training Desired profile: We are looking for a nurse with: Experience in CLSC or primary care (several years preferred) Autonomy in a remote context / industrial environment (mine) Ability to perform comprehensive clinical assessments Good command of documentation and administrative follow-up work Availability for variable hours (day, evening, night) Driver's license required (depending on off-site transportation arrangements) Main tasks: The resource will need to perform: General clinical assessment of workers Taking vital signs Performing FIT test-type tests Comprehensive health assessment (health check-up) First aid care Clinical monitoring and documentation Completing administrative forms and health reports Working conditions – mining environment (rotational shifts): Holiday and sick leave replacement (approximately 1 to 2 times per month, varying according to needs) Work in 48-hour blocks Understand : 2 day/evening shifts 2 consecutive nights on call Compensation: 40 hours paid per 48-hour block If a call is made during the night, the hours are added.
