Job description

Reporting to the Retail Store Leader, as Retail Supervisor you will grow the Skymint brand by delivering extraordinary service and bringing to life a distinctive cannabis experience for our guests. This includes directing the store team to exceed established goals of optimizing the guest experience, achieving operational goals, developing talent, increasing productivity and ensuring compliance with all local, state or agency regulatory compliance expectations.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

Perform inventory audits, physical inventories, proper receiving and destruction.
Lead teams efficiently and ensure excellence in performance and guest service.
Ensure cash management procedures are being followed including, transacting, opening, closing, depositing, reporting, reconciliation and escalation of discrepancies.
Maintain the safety and security of all guests and team members.
Partner with cross-functional teams to communicate all relevant store needs.
Ensure team focuses on superior guest service and upholds a positive reputation of the company.
Responsible for reviewing SOP's and assuring that any changes are communicated to employees.
In partnership with the leadership team oversee daily sales floor activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations through observation and coaching.
Support marketing and promotions by ensuring visual excellence through product placement, closing standards, and implementation of seasonal direction.
Foster and maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in retail, guest service or hospitality
Ability to lead and motivate a sales-focused team
Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills
Strong written, verbal and group communication skills
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business
Physical requirements- Ability to walk or maneuver and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day and the ability to lift 30lbs.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite
Cross functional collaborator, as well as independently motivated

Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years of supervisor/management experience in retail, customer service or hospitality
Previous cannabis industry experience
Experience in a heavily regulated environment
