Job description

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a skilled Staff Pharmacist with experience managing medium- to high-volume prescription processing. This role demands a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong communication skills. Candidates should be prepared to support the pharmacy team and ensure accurate dispensing of medications while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Location: Madera, CA (with willingness to commute up to 30-40 minutes to surrounding communities near Fresno)
Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage prescription verification and dispensing efficiently in a medium- to high-volume retail setting
  • Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and company policies
  • Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support when necessary
  • Utilize Rx30 software for prescription processing and record-keeping
  • Address patient inquiries and provide counseling on medication usage and safety
  • Support inventory management and order medications as needed
  • Contribute to a positive pharmacy environment focused on patient care
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
  • Minimum of 6 months' retail pharmacy practice experience
  • Proficiency using Rx30 software

  • Willingness to commute to nearby smaller communities surrounding Fresno
