Job description

The Opportunity

Job Responsibilities

  • Incoming Material Inspection: Meticulously inspect incoming materials (fabrics, trims, hardware) to verify compliance with established quality standards and specifications.
  • Documentation Verification: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation accompanying incoming materials, mitigating potential production issues.
  • Inspection Data & Reporting: Accurately record inspection data and promptly report any identified non-conformances.
  • Work-In-Progress (WIP) Inspection: Conduct thorough in-process inspections, referencing work instructions, technical packs, and reference samples in accordance with the

established inspection plan.

  • Finished Product Evaluation: verify product dimensions, construction, and overall workmanship, ensuring adherence to documented quality requirements and physical

reference samples.

  • Non-Conformance Resolution: Diligently follow up SOP of Non-confirming Material Control Procedure to initiate NCMR and disposition decision made by the MRB
  • Effective Communication: Maintain open and prompt communication with department supervisors and directors regarding inspection findings and quality concerns.
  • Corrective Action Implementation: Execute corrective actions as directed by management to promptly address and resolve quality issues.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Actively collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality concerns, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in manufacturing or related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality control related to raw materials, dimensional measurements, and workmanship.
  • Ability to conduct visual inspections and measurement of the finished products to evaluate quality.
  • A good knowledge and experiences of shade evaluation will be a plus
  • Extremely detail oriented and well organized.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to use a variety of specialized tools and measuring devices.
  • Competency with the Microsoft Office software suite and general data entry computer skills
