Quality Inspector MRO AVIATION ONLY – Waco, TX

SUMMARY OF POSITION 

The Quality Inspector ensures the overall quality and airworthiness of maintenance tasks performed during 767 & 737 heavy maintenance by performing in-process or final buyback on both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks. Heavy Line Boeing Inspections required! 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position are listed below. This list is not all-inclusive and may be amended from time to time. 

  • Process daily incoming and outgoing material to meet Quality Control requirements as stated in the ISO 9000 Procedures Manual and Customer Requirements Manual. 
  • Assist the Director of Quality Control in reviewing and updating department standards. 
  • Interface with suppliers and product lines to disposition rejects. 
  • All other duties as assigned. 
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required. 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a college or technical school, or four years related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant License required  
  • At least one relevant Gen Fam is required to sign off on inspections.   
  • 767 & 737 experience required
