Job description

Job Title: Rough-In Plumber

Job Description

This role seeks an experienced plumber to support construction of tiny homes in a manufacturing environment by performing high-quality plumbing installations. You will work independently to rough in plumbing systems, ensuring all work meets established standards and contributes to the successful completion of new tiny home builds.

Responsibilities

  • Perform rough-in plumbing for residential construction projects, including layout and installation of piping and fixtures according to plans and specifications.
  • Install, assemble, and secure PVC and other plumbing materials to ensure safe and reliable water supply and drainage systems.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and plumbing schematics to plan and execute installations accurately.
  • Work independently, managing your time and tasks to meet project deadlines while maintaining high workmanship standards.
  • Inspect completed installations to verify proper function, code compliance, and adherence to quality expectations.
  • Collaborate with construction teams and other trades on-site to coordinate plumbing work within the overall project schedule.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and best practices in a non-climate-controlled shop.

Essential Skills

  • At least 1 years of experience as a plumber in residential construction.
  • Proven ability to perform rough-in plumbing independently for new residential builds.
  • Solid knowledge of plumbing installation techniques and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience working with PVC piping and related plumbing materials.
  • Ability to read and follow construction plans, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
  • Capability to work with minimal supervision while meeting project timelines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a construction or shop environment.
  • Comfort working in non-climate-controlled spaces.
  • Reliability and strong work ethic, including consistent on-time attendance for early morning shifts.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with site teams and supervisors.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
