Job description

The Residential Plumber will manage various plumbing tasks primarily focused on residential new construction, repairs, and maintenance, as well as some commercial plumbing projects. Working both individually and as part of a small team, the plumber utilizes standard and advanced tools alongside mobile management apps to ensure top-quality service. This role demands flexibility in working hours, including standard daytime schedules, on-call shifts, and occasional overtime during busy periods.

Responsibilities

  • Install pipes and plumbing fixtures in new and existing residential structures
  • Repair leaks and address drainage issues promptly
  • Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent failures
  • Read and interpret blueprints for accurate plumbing installations
  • Install and service water heaters and other plumbing-related appliances
  • Respond to emergency plumbing repairs efficiently
  • Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times
  • Provide consultation and guidance to customers regarding plumbing concerns

Preferred Qualifications

  • Trade school certification in plumbing, pipefitting, or water systems
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations within plumbing work
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Effective problem-solving abilities
  • Good time management to handle various job demands
