Job description

Job Summary
The OPS Athletics Photographer will assist with all facets of the department's photographic needs, including events, campus life, academics, studio portraits and more for use on websites, social media, graphics, and other promotional and marketing purposes.
Job Description
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
  • Processes photos including editing, cataloging, culling, and key wording.
  • Assist with equipment set up and maintenance.

Other Duties:
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Additional Job Description
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of relevant experience in photography.
  • Experience with photography equipment, techniques, and editing.
  • Experience with Adobe Software (Bridge and Photoshop).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Basecamp (project management) software.
  • Experience with the creative controls of a DSLR Camera.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of social media platforms.
  • Skill in photography.
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects within deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to take studio portraits.
  • Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments.
  • Ability to operate personal computers with proficiency and learn new applications and systems.
  • Ability to work evenings, nights and weekends as necessary.
  • Ability to check email daily for new assignments.
