RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts with self-scheduling
/n• Care for mixed acuity patients including medical surgical and progressive care levels
/n• Manage oncology, stroke, cardiac, gastrointestinal, and pulmonary patients
/n• Patient ratios: MS patients 1:5-6, PCU patients 1:3-4 (acuity based)
/n• Administer cardiac drips including cardizem, amiodarone, and insulin drips
/n• Care for unstable stroke patients and manage BiPAP equipment
/n• Must have solid neuro experience and accept MS/Tele or PCU background
/n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
/n• Use Cerner charting system
/n• Wear red scrub tops with black bottoms
/n• Float as needed within hospital or to affiliate hospitals
/n• Work weekend coverage as required
/n• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
/n• 36-hour orientation period provided
/n• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
/n• 18 months experience required
/n• Indiana state license, compact license, or Indiana temporary license required

This short-term acute care hospital features 194 staffed beds and operates a dynamic mixed acuity progressive care unit. The facility provides comprehensive care including oncology, stroke, cardiac, gastrointestinal, and pulmonary services. The hospital offers interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and various specialized services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
