American Consultants is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Alliance, Nebraska.

Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Alliance, NE 69301

Start Date: August 18, 2026

Location: Alliance, Nebraska

Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week guaranteed. Self-scheduling on a rotational basis with every third weekend. Shifts are 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Highlights:
  • Intimate obstetrics department with 2 suites performing approximately 80 deliveries annually
  • Mom and baby stay together in room, providing family-centered care
  • Attend C-sections as needed, responsible for maternal care alongside a collaborative surgical team
  • Float to Patient Care Unit (Medical-Surgical) when not caring for OB patients
  • 88-day travel assignment through November 14, 2026
  • Comprehensive orientation including three days of classroom training and one preceptor shift
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state license in good standing
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery or Obstetrics
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers through American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification through American Heart Association
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • Reliable personal transportation required (rideshare services not available in this area)
  • Current immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and seasonal influenza
  • Completion of pre-employment health screenings, background checks, and drug screening
